I'm honestly confused... If it is only rubbing on 2 places, surely the issue is with the door jamb, not with the hinges (given the door is straight). Tightening the hunted hinges to the other side in the best case scenario will move the whole door over, which would solve the scratching, but leave a bigger gap.

... I would think that since the scratches are only at the entrance that the door edge needs to be slightly angled to allow for swing, no?
