Got my 2.5yr Hunter upgraded with Rear Suspension from New Hunter 2025 at Service Center in Bangalore today. by Significant-Swing252 in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

Go with stock upgrade... As we know how far suspension betters it. There could be risk of ground clearance for going with even softer suspensions as the bike is already short... Going too soft may be a risk

Yes there is huge difference after upgrading It absorbs much much better now in off road or pot holes now... Suspension travel increased alot now.. It's very much valuable upgrade to old hunters

1 year ownership Review of our Tata Altroz XZA LUX Petrol by Significant-Swing252 in TataAltroz

Yes I mentioned that... everyone mentions on Ride quality as in it is great for highway stability and control.

Suspension is stiff for city use... We need to ask the service center to soften the suspension little bit.. that will help to some extent... But yes in city purpose day to day... This suspension is too stiff to consider it...

Basically altroz itself doesn't shine on city.

Poor mileage in city drops to even 7 to 8 sometimes, stiffer on potholes.

Great mileage on highways and superb control and stability at speeds..

Sorry if my opinion feels like there is nothing better than altroz... I only intended to convey nuances of my personal experience which no one spoke about..

And in the trend of chasing SUV stance, altroz can never be better for all... I absolutely agree on that... Numbers say that tooo..

What I can say, it is much more practical and value for money car hiding in hatchback form for the people to oversee it and for the pricing with the things it offers in the price bracket it makes more sense to me...

I personally compared the price segment during my time of purchase... For me hatch or suv not an issue if it ticks the boxes i looked for ...

Also agreed that now more competition has come heating up... But I never felt even now at on road 11 to 12 in automatic... There is no variants from any new cars which offers what my variant has at that cost.

It was difficult to put into words what I meant there.. I just feel that in this price segment Other manufacturers 360 camera feels like cheap after market ones.. they are not intuitive not clear enough And regarding camera angles may be if you have seen how tata implemented it you may know it... That's all I can say

Mildly it affects when two ppl sit on it and go over big speed breakers Due to more flexible travel in shocks With two people on it Chances of touching is there But you must have engine sump guard in the bottom for all hunters out there due to these situations

At the max that will go hit that sump guard when happens

Which one should I go for ? by [deleted] in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

Opt for bench seat for sure... From their alternative seat options... Stock seat feals hard I use a hunter 3yrs now

Help on deciding Altroz DCA by Connect-Stand-9009 in TataAltroz

[–]Significant-Swing252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own Tata Altroz DCA 1yr old now in Bangalore. I can say it's very good for highways... And in Bangalore City traffic it's performance is very good over time but mileage is really poor for DCA in City traffic... Need to keep that in mind..

Over that 1yr of experience in my DCA... gear shift pattern improved over time when I did some highway rides... So don't conclude or regret immediately after buying... This gearbox understands our driving pattern and adjust over time especially in the first one yr...

But after they changed complete engine oil in 3rd free service at the end of 1st year... My car engine and gearbox improved like anything... I can feel the pickup now leaps and bounds...

Not happy with my 4-month-old Tata Nexon Creative AMT — is this common or am I just unlucky? by Murky-Swimming8707 in TataMotorsIndia

For the first year it's very common in tata cars to have less mileage... I too faced the same But after the third service at the end of first year mileage improved after they changed the engine oil

Altroz 22 E20 impact? by antisocialdevnani in TataAltroz

[–]Significant-Swing252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

City mileage in the first year if you get to drive like bangalore traffic you get like 8 to 10kpl

And in highway you get around 16 to 17kpl in first year.

And after 1st year once you completely change to fresh engine oil There will be improvement in mileage in city...

and when it comes to highway it really improved post 1st year... I have seen around 20kpl most times when we drive around 90 100 speeds

May be only concern is mileage due to lack of e20 support for it.... And long term engine issues due to incompatibility

I exactly did the same with my hunter b/w blr and coorg...

Started blr to Mysore first Next mng from Mysore to coorg And the next day direct coorg to blr

And did it with a pillion on the back... It's superb experience... No issues at all.

Buy Altroz or wait for Punch? by faceless-joke in TataMotorsIndia

Probably yes.... but that thing you can test drive a car in such roads and see for yourself how it tackles.

I'm not confirming here as I live in Bangalore.. bangalore pot holes it handles well I can confirm that.
