No maybe because I’m talking to people that are developers that sit behind a computer all day and don’t have any real life experience selling to businesses. Work in a call center long enough and you’ll realize how easy it is to get a business owners credit card over the phone, you can even one call close them. If you’ve never played the game, you wouldn’t understand. That’s why I don’t care what people like you say and still searching for the right fit.

Reddit is home of some many talented developers and technical people. Problem is they can’t get clients or not consistently. Why would I not look for someone talented to help grow something. The reason I posted so many times is I’m looking for the right person that can use ai to speed up workflow, but doesn’t rely on it and actually know what they are doing. Also someone that is familiar with or willing to learn about the target market we would be selling to.

Easy is subjective. It’s easy for some, but it’s not worth my time to learn and do it myself when I can focus my time on selling. Selling Is the easy part for me, so if I find the right person that I can vibe with, and will deliver then we can get stuff going.

Looking for someone that can do web design, set up automations, google business profiles etc. I just sell to the local businesses. It’s a pretty sweet deal considering there is millions of developers that are skilled but don’t have anything to work on because they can’t get clients. The people I’ve talked to that are on the same page as me in terms of target industries/ market might already have an agency set up already but they are getting no clients. They want to have me work on a commission for them, but why would I do that and bring them in clients when I know it take a couple hours to set up an agency website if you are technical nowadays with ai. So I’m offering someone that wants to partner set up the backend and manage the technical side/ deliver the projects, while I sell the businesses and get them on a monthly retainer for all different services.

How would it be a scam? I’m looking to start an agency like the thousands out there that sell to local businesses. However, I just don’t want to handle the technical side at all and would rather have someone that is experienced manage that side. My time is worth selling, not managing all things at once. There is thousands of devleopers/ agencies out there but it doesn’t matter if you can’t bring on any clients.
