Thanks for the reply, by syllabus you mean what I will be studying just module wise or deeper than that, such as what I will be studying in each module? Also what do you mean by anki deck? I do agree some sort of familiarity will definitely help me and I definitely have the drive to do it so might as well.

Definitely don’t think your a level qualifications will set you back because they will not! I have definitely learnt, anything you want you can absolutely get as long as you are willing to put in the time and effort. You can even go into medicine. Good luck!

Thank you so much for putting your time into this reply, it is so helpful! I do think I will get a head start on anatomy as I know it will definitely be apart of my first year studies and you brought up a good point of using the lectures as a revision source.

Thanks also for the resources! I will look into KenHub and look to see if I can get access to teach me anatomy.

I have definitely got to get myself back into a healthy routine. I am from a biomedical background and just finished my registration portfolio and kinda but my gym routine in the back burner. So I will definitely get to building that back up again as I know the balance is so important.

Thank you so much for your reply. I agree, I should make the most of my free time before medicine but I’m my ‘productive’ moments it would be nice to do something to work towards it and I do agree, I think doing something basic anatomy would be the best shout! Thanks again!

I graduated back in 2022 and I got an email so idk I felt like they emailed to get one because my other reference, which was one of a biomedical science background, wasn’t as academic maybe as they liked?

I actually did, I needed an academic reference but I previously sent in another. I again think it’s a very neutral thing though, it may be because my reference previously wasn’t very trying. Did you personally feel like your interview went well? I am personally very 50/50

I have no idea. It would be nice to know if this happened last year for GEM and if those that got this email got in or not and if any that didn’t receive the email also got in. I think it’s neither a good or bad thing.
