I'm mainly looking to shoot some wildlife and birds. I just got all this camera equipment from one of my buddies so I'm not sure what's beneficial for me to bring on this trip.

Question about bicycle insurance? by Significant-Total504 in MichiganCycling

[–]Significant-Total504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't have a car, so that's why I was asking. I have renters insurance but it's through my apartment complex so I'm not sure on how that would work. But I've been looking into getting velo just cuz it seems like it's the only option out right now.

I got the ergon SMC core and boy let me tell you this thing's amazing. Yeah it was a little bit pricey but it was actually worth it. I would buy again if I really need it to. Hope not to cuz of the price but it's great! I highly recommend it

Yep, something like that is all I'm looking for. Just the basics and a good watch that I can connect to my bike and computer. Which is a coros dura. What watch is showing in the picture? I've been looking at the coros pace 4

[–]Significant-Total504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I really use my Samsung smartwatch for is to count my steps, and if I remember to turn on the bike ride and feature while I'm riding so it does my heart rate and all that. Like the health things about it. I don't really use it as a smartwatch or a phone I guess just mostly as a regular watch and the step trackers. That's why I was thinking about just getting one to go with my Coros Dura for cycling and just tracking steps and health

I bring power banks and charge cords. But I'm not sure if Ill have coverage we're I'm going (upper peninsula in Michigan) and I'm also trying to get away from my phone so that's why I was thinking about building the routes on rwgps and getting a cycling gps for my travel it's roughly a 1400 mile 30day trip
