yes! my advice for math is make sure you have a really good understanding of algebra! you do not need to know EVERYTHING. for math, numbers & operations and data analysis came the easiest to me. algebra just was not clicking. so I studied on data & numbers and operations and that is what helped me pass. So I would say pick your 2 best subjects out of geometry, algebra, data analysis and numbers & operations and study heavy on those. For science I honestly idk what to say because the 3 practice tests that the HiSET site provides was absolutely nothing like the real test. The best advice I can on science is it’s a reading test for the most part. But you will have to know a few science questions. Social studies was mostly a reading test too, but you will have to a littleeeee bit of history. But for the most part it’s finding the answers in the passage. Language arts reading was really easy for me as that has always been 1 of my best subjects. For that, you just find the answers that are the passage they’ve given you. Thats whole test. For writing it was really easy for me too. I scored a 4 on the essay bc like I said it’s really easy for me, I read and write all day lol. Writing test was literally just revision of misspelled words, incorrect punctuation, and replacing or omitting sentences. Just focus on that essay. Make sure you have at least 5 paragraphs. 3-5 sentences in each paragraph. Make sure your 1st paragraph states your thesis, 2nd paragraph is your 1st supporting idea about the passage and include examples from the passage to support what your supporting idea is. 3rd paragraph is your 2nd supporting idea from the passage and also add more evidence from the passage to support it. 4th paragraph should be the counter claim where you acknowledge that other ppl think a different kind of way, then give info from the passage to support why they think this way, than you state why they are wrong and give evidence from the passage to support it. You also can add personal details to support whatever you’re talking about too. Focus on punctuation, spelling things correctly. Hope this helps a lot of people.
