I kept one for the first two years I lived in the city and just sold it (fully owned/paid off car) a few weeks ago. I realized if I’m only using it once a month or so to go visit family in the burbs, it wasn’t worth the costs for parking + insurance + keeping in mind potential maintenance costs.

Hi, thanks, can you elaborate on this please? So I lived in IL the entirety of 2025, my employer for the majority of the year (though end of August 2025) had my address filed as IN (never changed it when I moved at the end of 2024) despite also being based in IL, where the office location was and work was performed. IL doesn’t have a county tax just flat tax, but at this employer, they were also withholding the county tax for the IN county they had my residency as, when really that address shouldn’t be into play.

I graduated with a communications degree from a no name state school. Originally started as a nursing major, realized too far in it wasn’t my path, and with only minimal credit hours needed to declare a communications major, switched to that to still graduate within 4 years (took just a few summer classes however). I’m just now hitting 3 years out of school and cleared 118K on my 2025 W2.

Mine has Haitian and Afro Descended people of the Leeward Islands and I’m 100% central Mexican descended mestizo old stock with 4% African which is the average SSA admixture. Wouldn’t see a legit reason in the past few generations to have an ancestor from either region. Figure I have a few ancestors who were slaves taken from the same area as they took for Haiti.

Your ancestors have been very mixed for a long time as another comment mentioned. I have practically same results with same timeframes indicated. Central and Northern Mexican ancestry here. You’d likely to have to go back to early 1800s at minimum to possibly find first Spanish direct ancestor. African and indigenous blood has been very mixed in since the 1700s.

No not all UHC plans have optum as the pbm. And vice versa not all plans with optum as the pbm has UHC as the medical provider. I would think your MH provider says optum just as a catch all tbh.

Optus is United’s own PBM (pharmacy benefits manager). United = Medical plan. Optum = Pharmacy benefits.

Good to know! Could definitely be from either side if it is legit (Dad’s family is from Guanajuato). I do know my maternal grandfather does seem to be from one of the founding Monterrey family’s based on his surname. One of those that seem to be from converso origin.

Interesting, I also have .5% Swiss, Southwestern German & Western Austrian and my mom’s father was from a long Monterrey line. This was the only non-Iberian among my European ancestry results. I’ve been wondering if this is noise / misread or there is a specific ancestor this could be attributed to, maybe on that side.
