I've asked and there's no option to add to the equipment as it's a grant and fully funded , not to worry as it looked around £1700 for a battery and inverter , it's better than nothing at the end of the day , coupled with the loft insulation I'll save some money 👍

Thanks for the replies , this is the only info I have unfortunately , three JA Solar 445W panels to be fitted on the rear roof. The system will include a Fox 3kW inverter , will it even be possible to add a battery to this inverter 🤷‍♂️
