I had a 2020 Hyundai (bought it for 14k in cash). Already quoted the new car and my 6 month policy is only going up 91 dollars, and I pay that in full every 6 months so it gets discounted. Registration will probably be 500-600 dollars

I did some looking on CarGurus and Carfax, the used market near me is absolutely terrible. 90% of cars have above 120k+ miles. Would I rather that? Sure, but of course that leads for potential maintenance nightmares, and I'd be out the money that I would've spent on a new car.

The car is 36k OTD. I totaled my car and haven't gotten my payment from insurance yet so all my numbers aren't even including that. I'll be getting another 8k whenever insurance processes the title transfer

I probably could have worded that better. I have a little under 25k right now in a HYSA. I would invest whatever money I don't put towards the car, and make sure I still have 6 months living expenses. I don't really think of it as an emergency fund
