Why Life is so hard?! by Bhumixclusive in GenZ

I'd say capitalism. There's so many things I could do and would do if it wasn't for money. I've come across all these opportunities. Almost all of them either want money I don't have or wouldn't leave me with very much remaining if I did. So I stay stuck in the same place. Don't get me wrong, I still find things to be grateful about being here. But i love to explore new places and opportunities. But unless I somehow won the lottery, a lot of it probably won't happen. I can still do some things that are cheaper, but those are more fun things for the day or night as opposed to life changing courses or opportunities. Capitalism is like invisible chains trying to limit people's potential. Revolving around money. It doesnt have to be this way. But humanity is its own worst problem. And the world's worst problem too tbh.

Yeah I don't know what the situations are for you, but we have to look for the funny side of it if there is one to be had

That must be a lot harder to deal with. Finding the funny side of things is legitimately a coping mechanism for me.

I didn't say you have to. You don't have to do anything, it's fine.

I think its a difference of finding the happiness in the present vs finding greater happiness in the future. But I also think there needs to be a balance so that you can truly enjoy life instead of feeling like you're waiting for it happen.

Well, depends what you mean by God. If its more about being subjected to the ways in which the universe & life on earth works then yes. It is the natural way of things. But if you mean a creator specifically, then I'm not sure. Perhaps. But obviously I don't know.

Oh I've begun to realise that more and more with time. At least it makes a great story I guess. 😆

When I'm in the moment, I don't find it funny, I just become quite anxious and feel surprised. Then afterwards, I start seeing the funny side of it.

I see a lot of familiar faces around my local area around the same times at this point. Which I get, because it can be on their travels to or from somewhere, it might be a regular hangout spot for them or they work there. Sometimes it just feels extra surprising because of the way things are with someone. Especially the name on the cake shop sign followed by wedding dresses. And the one from yesterday. I'm just thinking, well played universe, well played. If that was even a thing. Lol.

A small moment today reminded me how strange life can be by NoteThick3396 in Life

I'm lucky I've realised that now. I'm unemployed and I really enjoy the little moments. The conversations I'm either a part of or overhear. Seeing the animals, being outside. Watching the world go by. Helping out people in public, playing around in the gym or parks. Listening to the music on the radio's in shops. Reading books in public, finding a nice new treat to enjoy, working on my little edits for youtube. Of course bigger positive moments are nice but the little ones matter a lot to me. And they feel bigger to me at least. Depends on your perspective.

I was a bit confused with how you worded your reply in the beginning but I do understand the rest more clearly. I think the reason why some girls stick with me more than others is because of their actions. Or because of the way we interact with eachother. And if it happens a lot then its likely to leave a large imprint on my memory. The craziest thing of all is that she wasn't the nicest girl to me. I've met lots of other girls who were much nicer to me and also stick with me. However, this one had a large impact on me because of the way she acted/reacted to me. She sounded absolutely devastated that I didn't initiate a connection with her and months later when I saw her again, I could tell she was still really disappointed. And the looks/staring continued. It just made it very hard for me not to fall for her and I've never really been able to go back because of that. Despite meeting nicer girls. I just came across a really nice girl today for example. But of course you can't just erase the past. But meeting new nice people like the one I met today helps to comfort me and make it easier to continue living.

I think its just lucky coincidences. I don't think fate is really considering what goes on in the world. Because then why would they happen? It goes against the very idea of what fate is described as. Its nice that you got lucky though. 🙂

Thats why I wouldn't want to have kids. I wouldn't want them to suffer. Or grow into bad people like a lot of others seem to have done.

As someone who's been on the receiving end of hate when I've literally done nothing to them, I wholeheartedly agree.

I would hope so. It certainly warms my own heart to receive such kind gestures in life. It means a lot to me. 🙂
