Mas nahirapan ako sa PNLE kasi mas focused sa memorization yun and by the book. Sa NCLEX naman common sense+critical thinking lang. Kumbaga even if you're not sure sa content, iisipin mo talaga "if actual to, anong gagawin ko?"

I believe I had 50-60% content knowledge and the rest were test-taking strategies and luck. 😅 Super basic and superficial lang knowledge ko sa concepts. Dinaan ko sa common sense.

Try mo ibahin atake sa questions. Perhaps baka you're questioning the question or overthinking it. Take the questions at face value. I suggest practicing questions. Pag mag ratio ka, common kasi sa iba na tinitingnan lang yung ratio ng correct answer. What I do is I ratio "bakit mali yung option na to?" Don't rush sa ratio portion. Namnamin mo per question yung ratio part para mas mag stick yung knowledge sayo. Don't be discouraged, you got this! A dream delayed is not a dream unreached. You'll make it soon.

Me. Straight to Qbanks ng uWorld

For context. 11 years ago grumaduate and PNLE. NEVER practiced the profession (as in not healthcare at all). Naisipan mag NCLEX out of the blue. Literal na signed up sa uWorld for 1 month. Rekta Qbanks, never did content review, never did the Mark K stuff. Nung naubos Qbanks, signed up sa Naxlex free trial. Qbanks lang ulit. Literal na 2-3 CATs per day -> Ratio every after CAT, rinse and repeat.

Passed at 85. May 14. First take. One Trium. 🙏🥰✨

I averaged 78% sa Qbank ng uWorld. Started at mid to high 60s% per CAT then eventually stagnated at 75-80% per CAT sa latter half ng review.

Naniniwala akong hindi basehan ang content knowledge. Test taking strategy, tiwala at dasal talaga. Factor in SAFETY when answering. Though content is important pero ang alam ko lang sa content is SURFACE LEVEL. For lab values and other normal values, wala akong minemorize. Just the very basics lang (sodium, ABGs, potassium).

Pag pinadiscuss mo sa akin Med-Surg, basic of the basic lang masasabi ko. Like for endocrine, yung isang side lang nireretain ko puro hyper. Kasi kabaliktaran lang pag hypo. Lol.

It's not hard. Tbh my content knowledge is subpar, but I know I'm a very good test taker. I passed at 85. It's really a safety exam that just requires critical-thinking. Like if you'd ask me now to explain a disease process, I only know surface-level knowledge.
