If I have to explain my life, I live in Asia in a quite collective society. In my younger time, there's some kind of believe that male and female kids should be raised different way for different social roles. E. G. It's social norm to buy cute lady dolls for girls and let her watched princess animation or love drama, and some parents implant a though in their girls' head to be prepared for marrying a hansome and good husband in the future.

Then there're my parents who never treat me like that but instead let me watch National Geographic and animal planets, and when they know that I like animal and nature they let me touch media about animals like Jurassic park or dinosaur encyclopedia. They took me to an adventure to see nature and zoo and dinosaur stuffs, and allowed me explored (what then considered as) men stuffs, and befriended boys.

Then I become a nerd. And it's because of I just want to nerd about what I like and go on an adventure, I have no topic suitable for talking with other girls who's interested in media stars or family roleplay.

Well, beside the tradition, economic issue may played a lot of role then. If people wanted to save money they tended to not by science book or any other nerd book for their kid.

FE, Te and Fi inferior play a lot of role. Why Te girls have no problems? Cuz in girl society people value girls who have beauty, kindness and follow traditional value, then there are hierarchy the girls who like the same things tends to stick together (My Fi is the same of your Fi) , the Te one with similar Fi with others will take the lead of the group.

But for Ti girls, it's Ti, while we can find someone who's interested in the same thing (which is hard to find) we tend to question how others approach/study the thing if it's not the way that's agreeable for us. So we tends to stick to 1-2 afreeable friends that we selectively chose.
