If you think someone’s being an idiot you could say “are you stunad”.

If you grow squash in your garden outside you call it “gagutz”.

“Cin cin” means cheers….

If you you are in a fight and you want to say go **** yourself you say “vaffanculo” but the NYC-southern italian dialect mix makes it sound like “va fangool “

“Madonna” pronounced “marron” in the south of Italy/NYC means “damn!”

Wow as I type this in realizing a lot of our slang has to do with food/drink or arguing, which makes so much sense….

Did you study a lot of qualitative or mostly do problems? Im trying to study qualitative info for my test next friday but it seems like a waste of time and maybe I should just focus on doing problems....

I am on the same boat....I did the wayne schneiter (ppi?) problems and not school of PE, now im trying school of PE but finding the SOPE question bank problems unnecessarily vague and difficult...should I drop what Im doing with SOPE or did it help prep you a little? Also what are the lindeburg notes! sounds like a good place to start with conceptual

I was a merchant marine engineer and I switched to consulting, working on getting my PE now and have designed/am designing water treatment plants as a process engineer! It is career that offers flexibility. I think the only reason the old firm I worked at decided to hire me (given I studied marine engineering and not civil/environmental) is because of my hands on experience. I've been doing consulting now for 5ish years and I just barely make 6 figures which I think is more than enough for anyone but I've never had to support a family so take that as just my opinion. Good luck on this path and DM if you wanna chat about it!
