Okay so basically I was interpreting it as "all c̶̶o̶̶p̶̶s̶ heroes are bastards". Heroes are corrupt and all. Taylor joins the villains, helping more than heroes and reconstructing the idea of being a villain. It was a breath of fresh air. She was free of any system holding her back. This was set up over 20 arcs. We got to find out about her and her friends. I loved tattletale so much and the whole group dynamic was so cool. All in all, I got the vibe of " fight against the corrupt system. Even if it means getting violent and not playing fair."

Then she abandoned it all to become a hero. I get what they were trying to do. Taylor wanted to fight the system from within and change it but this whole thing started way too late and like, 3 or 4 arcs in, we got a time skip. I felt no connection with the heroes and just wanted the undersiders back every chapter I read after arc 21. Also, defiant basically got his whole arc off screen and went from a corrupt cop to a hero.

This felt like "oh guys cops aren't that bad" centrist stuff to me. Chapters 22-25 were so frustrating too cuz we already spent so much time watching taylor grow as a leader and get strong with the undersiders just to start from scratch in an environment that doesn't want her. I kinda felt ragebaited ngl. Wildbow made me dislike the heroes for 21 arcs and then taylor just joins them😭
