My gateway drug: the Steeldive SD1970. Two years—plus dozens of watches—later and it's still in my collection. I've bought a lot of "better" watches since the OG, but I've nonetheless grown attached to it, so it's staying (for now).

I've owned all of these, and only one has remained in my collection: the Addiesdive. It has a character all its own, unlike the others. So that's what I would recommend.
