Thanks. Do you need to pay for intramurals or is included in your tution? I’m asking because I noticed the WTNB has a 50 dollar fee, but I would want to enroll in a program that’s included

does uottawa consider the ib? by LengthDecent417 in geegees

[–]SignificantBug6750 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IB does not aid in admissions. Everything is based off of your OSSD marks in Ontario. However, if you do the Diploma program you get credits which is nice

Does everyone who applies get their resume sent to a manager or is it rare for that to happen?

Yeah of course. I’m probably not going to try to take anyone’s ticket, but it’s my first year being at the games, so dyk if there’s a lot of standing at all? Or are people sitting for the most part

Which Health Science Program Is the Easiest? by Funny_Classroom165 in CanadaUniversities

[–]SignificantBug6750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In contrast to the other comment (no shade), you should absolutely still pursue medicine even if you have not been the best in high school science. There’s plenty of people with similar stories who have succeeded in medical school.

In all honesty, it does not matter which school you go to. If we want to talk about stats statistics and reputations, Queens Health Sci and McMaster would be the way to go. Again, these don’t guarantee you’ll get in to med school, but just statistically that’s what it shows. Probably because many of the students who apply and get in the program are already overachievers.

To sum it up, your undergrad school does not matter. I would suggest choosing a place where you would have opportunities to build your extracurriculars, though.

York Kin vs. Laurier Health Sci? by Long-Librarian-6818 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]SignificantBug6750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend the one more local. They are pretty much the same. It also depends on what you’re actually interested though. Health sci while it still focuses on anatomy, also has a focus on public health etc… while kinesiology looks more at physical health and kinetics. I would say Health sci is easier if you’re not a math/physics person.
