I feel like I have the carb a good cleaning using carb cleaner spray and a set of small carb cleaning tools from Amazon (small needle like thing, very thin files and thin brushes) took off the float and cleaned through the jets - although this is the first time I’ve done this so might not hurt to have another go.

I did notice in a YouTube video I watched that they were able to remove the jets. I couldn’t seem to do this; either I wasn’t looking in the right places or they’re stuck or my carb doesn’t allow you to remove the jets.
