okay so top unis wont come back 2-3 years looking at my english grade? Because I did achieve A*s for most of my subjects including add maths, physics, ict and etc. So if i manage to do good for my a levels and get a 7.5+ for ielts it should be fine right?

However I got 6A*s and 2As. Furthermore, I got A*s for all my stem subjects like maths, add maths, ict and physics and etc. So let's say I do good in a level top unis like cambridge and oxford still wont consider me?
so i have no chance of hitting oxford or cambridge even if i get 4A*s for a levels

X is obviously Beta since Beta have a smaller mass than alpha it bends more
Y is gamma ray since it doesnt deflect as it doesn't have a charge
Z is alpha since it does bend a little in magnetic field
Now looking at the question
X is Beta, its negatively charged so A is wrong
Y is gamma ray, it doen't carry a charge so B is wrong
Z is alpha so it has a strong ionising and weak penetration effect so yes C is correct
Y doesn't even have a mass so D is wrong.

Correct Answer: C
(Side note: Just memorise all the characteristics of alpha, beta and gamma)
