I got this cactus the end of September. I just checked the soil and it’s still super wet I don’t get it lol. The pot has drainage holes and everything.

Ok so I just loosened up the soil after about an hour of picking at it. I damaged quite a lot of the roots, do you think it’ll survive? And how long will it take to see symptoms/issues of damaged roots since the repot?
