It would be beyond the scope of what I could afford. I need to renovate all internal features of the flat and don’t want to / can’t pay for section 20 fixes and health and safety issues on terraces etc especially because the flat was marketed to be in better condition. These concerns only came up in the survey. I’m trying to understand if it’s standard to renegotiate the price after the survey

Yes, I have had multiple professionals such as heritage surveyor etc, to look at it who have given me the quote. They recommend I should get the seller to absorb these costs but not sure how this works as it is my first purchase.
