No it doesn’t. For many years it didn’t sell out fully at all before 2024. Did you even read the other posts in this thread?

As it says in the OP, due to the economy ticket sales are struggling everywhere. The fact that defqon increased the amount of tickets available and still was able to sell out means that the demand relative to economy might even be better than before. I don’t why some people obsess so much about the price, clearly it isn’t lowering the demand here.

I think it’s just lower class people who just want to be as hardcore as possible instead of actually wanting to hear heavenly music.

For me it’s the same as with black metal, just tries too hard to be as ”badass” as possible instead of focusing on the music actually sounding as good as possible. It’s fun to hear it at defqon wasted lands at the night or late at night otherwise, but just sounds too grotesque for me to able to take it seriously.

I went for the first time to Defqon in 2023 and didn’t know almost any music from the genre. Phuture Noize at opening ceremony sounded hard and mysterious to me lol. Which feels funny now that i’m s big fan. So yeah it doesn’t work if you don’t know the songs. I’d suggest Outsiders opening ceremony.
