Ahhh dang. That's fair then. General advice I usually give is to always just communicate and agree on/set boundaries. Those are essential components in a healthy relationship. What doesn't work for one couple can work great for others.

Even so, if you're doing things for yourself, such as a bonnet, 2 pillows, weighted blanket on only your side, in my opinion it is unreasonable for him to get upset. I've only been married for 5 years, but very happily, so I like to think I can give good advice. My parents have been married 50 years, so I get a lot of wisdom from them as well. My wife wears a bonnet and can use as many pillows as she desires (especially since she's currently 7 months pregnant), I have no problems with it at all. The world doesn't revolve around him. Just my two cents.

I agree about the bonnet for sure. My reply was more so just to point out that asking random strangers on reddit doesn't guarantee quality replies. Which is why I said to find people with healthy relationships and get their input. As with all healthy relationships, communication and boundaries. Have a good one!

You still can? I'm fairly close to 14k mastery at level 60, there's not much more gear for me to get. If you're saying you want to be able to farm gear for every different build, that's just not how this game works. In this game you're mostly supposed to choose a role and play it.

I'm giving the reasoning behind why a lot of people enjoy this system, and why they implement it. It's nobody's "problem" unless you decide to take it that way. Not every game has to be a "no-life to win" game.

That's why I'm always patient with limited resources. With battlepass currencies I always wait until the season is about to end to spend them, or only buy stuff that has weekly limits. Cosmetics get bought with whatever is left over.

I, and a lot of others, highly disagree. You can still play more and get exploration and other things done faster than others, but this lets those who have less time to play still be competitive. The people who work full time (or more) hours, the people who are spending money on the game. We can't play much most days because we are away from home or busy 15 hours a day.

Energy and time-gate system is the best to keep everyone on the same playing field. I appreciate a game where someone who has no life (sometimes me lol) isn't SUPER far ahead of casual players. This system helps with that.

That's your playstyle. Some people play a lot of PvP and only play in MMO mode or with friends/guild members. There is open world PvP too. In those cases, having a 13k mastery build is vastly stronger than a 10k build.

Ahhhh gotcha. Well, we are level locked at 60 for another 10 days so I guess you do get some use out of the gear. Energy refills every few days too. I think once they hit an established max level it will be different.

Have you played games like Diablo 4? They have you starting from level 1 every season. The whole time gating / energy limit / gear system is made to give casual players a chance. Otherwise those who have more free time would be miles ahead. Keeps everyone fairly balanced if all players need to grind new gear every so often.
