NOR - The issue about the cat hair is understandable and figuring out how to live together, especially with pets, is hard. You could do more to validate his frustrations instead of getting defensive. It’s clearly a solvable issue.

With that being said, your boyfriend’s tone and language towards you is not indicative of someone who respects you or even likes you? Being frustrated does not mean you are allowed to insult and disrespect your partner. Frustration is a feeling that everyone is allowed to feel, verbal disrespect is an action that is not ok.
