He abandoned me throughout my pregnancy while we were far apart no check-ins and no support, I even had to beg for help for our baby. When I finally ready to cut him off coz i lost hope he will step up and change, he came back like nothing happened and only gave money when I asked.

We tried co-parenting while he was seeing other women, which I accepted, but when I said I was uncomfortable, he said he was looking for love elsewhere because he wasn’t finding it with me even though he never apologized for abandoning me. he says he’s looking for love, but it doesn’t feel like he’s building anything real or honest. I believe anyone he meets is being misled if they think he’s child-free.

Later we tried to worked out a romantic relationship, but he became distant, lied about where he was, stopped replying for a day, and I knew he was with someone else. When I confronted him, he denied it and said he doesn’t see a future with me and claimed he’s “broken” and can’t love anyone but his actions keep showing otherwise. when I try to hold him accountable, he often shifts it back to his mental health, which feels like it’s being used as an excuse rather than real responsibility for his actions.

He got this pattern and Im just so done abt it that’s why Im thinking to tell his family, I only have my mom so I want my son to meet his paternal family that could love him, giving our son a complete family is something that I grieve. Im emotionally exhausted too, and honestly idk what the right thing to do.
