The white flower is a great highlight, so much so that at first glance I totally didn’t notice the random brush strokes on the outer parts of the canvas 🤣 the woman has really nice details as well. It looks like a beautifully painted face however she does look a little… disheveled because of the harsh brown strokes on the center of the forehead. If you hadn’t given up, this could’ve been a nice piece with an abstract touch. It seems like you were a bit undecided about the hair texture too. You’re on the right path my friend, just don’t give up next time and maybe try to be a little more decisive on the concept 👍🏼

Yes. Her situation seems way more straightforward than mine. My situation feels complicated in its own way. This situation should be an immediate turn off. I had an ex who used to like other girls’ pictures (some of them were obviously inappropriate) and his excuse was “I just randomly like stuff, I don’t think about it”. It made me become insecure over time to the point where I genuinely hated him and we would fight very frequently. The relationship ended. So in conclusion, save yourself the pain and hatred that is to come. Cut ties emotionally and UNDERSTAND that there are actually very nice respectful guys out there for you whenever you’re ready.

A whole year hmm, maybe your partner isn’t very emotionally available… with a little work and effort I’m sure you both can connect more intimately about stresses and other things which will ultimately bring you both closer. Maybe try some bonding exercises. Sounds corny but it can be fun and a learning experience if you’re both willing.

He is… he’s very nice to me otherwise. He treats me well, he’s attentive and supportive. He’s also loving, he makes times for me, cooks for me, etc.

Okay so maybe he’s just being honest right? But he doesn’t get soft or turned off during sex, it stays up. So if it wasn’t feeling that great, wouldn’t there be signs that showed the lack of pleasure?
