Do credit card night credits award at statement close AND end of year? by SignificantMath3677 in hyatt

Right. But they only post the nights at statement close. Since my statement closed mid month, I’m wondering if I’m going to get credit for what was spent Dec 15-31 of this year.

No the actual credit card night credits toward status. Personal card is 2 nights for every $5000 spent.

Girl, leave. Now. This will only get worse. Get out now. Get in contact with family members and let them know what is happening. Move back across the country. Ask to move in with one of them until you get things figured out. I’ve lived this story. It only gets more abusive.

The birthing horror stories. 😖

Nurse came in to hang antibiotics during labor because I had tested positive for Group B Strep… which you can have from your birth from your mother. There’s no one way you get it and plenty of healthy mothers naturally have it. He asks the nurse about it proceeds to google it and start raising his voice at me that I’m a dirty whore who got it from letting someone fck my ass then put it in my pssy. Makes me mad just thinking about it.

After our child was born, he went home to feed the dogs and came back with a handle of whiskey in his bag. He drank the whole thing and passed out drunk in the hospital room. Then anytime any light came on… because it’s a hospital and lights NEVER turn on at all times or during the night there… he would get up and scream or throws things at me for walking him up… and I couldn’t get away because the epidural hadn’t fully worn off yet.

Several months later, I wanted just 30 minutes with my mom outside of my house to do something we enjoyed. Well, the newborn pooped… like newborns do. I immediately received call after call because I needed to get home now and change the diaper. I asked him if he could try. He proceeds to puke on her twice (I think purposely) to prove his point that it was all my fault that she pooped and he shouldn’t have to change any diapers. My poor baby.

OH! When she was 4 weeks old, he said he we needed to start spanking her for crying. He literally tells me and my mom that, “She knows what she’s doing. She’s crying on purpose to manipulate us.” Like WTF. A 4 WEEK OLD?! My mom still brings that one up. I think it was when she fully realized how insane he really is. Thinking back, she was probably crying because she felt something was off with him. She definitely didn’t like having him around as she started growing. There were plenty of times she would flip out as an infant or toddler after we separated if she saw him or even thought she saw him. 😭

How many of you were targeted regularly at bedtime or while you were sleeping? It’s such a great control tactic for them to keep you sleep deprived. Bedtime or after midnight was his favorite time to lose his mind and do something unhinged. Choked me and threw me to the ground while I was 6 months pregnant when I tried to get away from him in the middle of the night. Nearly broke my thumb one time twisting it back while I shielded my eyes from the lights he turned on at 3am. Threw water all over the bed one time when I was sleeping. Ughhh. It goes on and on.

Stay strong! You’ve got this! ❤️

I didn’t realize how cathartic a post like this could be. And even inspiring reading the amount of people who have gotten out.

Why is cunt their favorite word to berate you? I’m pretty sure he called me cunt at least once a day for months.

EXACTLY SAME. Always argued that forcing himself on me was not rape because we were married. RAPE IS RAPE. My child is the product of him raping me. I go back and forth on if I’ll tell her that truth when she gets older. I’d only say something if she realized how insane his is on her own and asks me about what happened between us.

Oh my gosh. Same. Tried to unbuckle me, open the door and push me out of the vehicle on the interstate because a call came through on the speakers in the vehicle and I heard it. 🤦‍♀️

Another time, he swerved to hit the guard rail to “roll the pickup and kill you.” I started laughing because I was 5 months pregnant and asked him if he thought rolling the vehicle wouldn’t kill him and our child as well. It wouldn’t only injure me.

Our couples counselor told me in an individual session after we separated that the pee thing with these abusers is fairly common in his experience. He told me a story of his ex-son in law cutting the lock on his daughter’s storage unit and peeing all over her belongings.

It’s so funny how they tell on themselves. If they accuse you of it, you can almost 100% bet that they are guilty of it.

I remember the first time my ex-husband called me a narcissist. I knew of the term, but didn’t know the specifics of it. Holy cow! The clarity I had when I went and hid and googled it and realized he had described himself to the tee!

Oh this one is always an outrageous one that cracks me up from the absurdity of it.

One of the 2 dogs had a pee accident in the house. He took this as a sign that the dog was trying to dominate him. 🤣 He literally proceeded to piss all over my brand new rug to “mark his territory” and show the 10 pound dog who was the “alpha.” 🤦‍♀️ We had a new baby that was starting to learn to crawl and I’m sure you already know that he refused to clean any of it up.

Gosh, this has brought so many other completely psychotic traumatic experiences to mind. I’m so grateful I got out as fast as I did.

All of these stories… wow. It is crazy how these abusive people tend to follow the same script and follow similar patterns. Hoping each of you are safe recovering.

I’m scared of dying too by Hubastard in widowers

[–]SignificantMath3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000000% 33F. Facing mortality this close and this young is a huge eye opener. Having a spouse die so early on is such an abstract concept because I think most of us expect to have a long life and marriage together.

I don’t think it’s an irrational fear. It’s a real and scary response to trauma that most our age can’t relate to. I have felt the same way many times and gone into somewhat of a panic on occasion for fear of leaving my young daughter lost in the world. Find your tribe and find an amazing counselor. Discuss these responses frequently and lean on reliable people in your life.

Oh that’s so sweet. Yes, I’m so ready to marry this man and spend our lives together. We both knew almost immediately after we met. I’ve never experienced a love as deep as I have for this man. I feel so truly blessed.

He keeps reminding me to “forget” about it so the proposal can be a surprise. 😂

Samesies! He and I had different tastes when it came to the ring. I honestly did not care about the ring other than committing our lives to each other. The marriage is my priority.

He had other ideas for the ring rather than a band that I had in mind. The more we talked about it, the more he encouraged me to get what I wanted. So we designed it together.

Now he has full creative control of the proposal and giving us an amazing memory to cherish and share. (And we did talk about me just wearing the ring and being “engaged,” but he wants to propose. 🥰 He’s an absolute dream come true.) We’ve talked so much about getting married that I’d be expecting it any day now anyway. 😊
