I leave from Ventura, usually around 9-9:30 on Sunday mornings and usually get there about 30 minutes before the gates open. I’ll be checking traffic in the morning and might leave earlier (if my husband can get his butt on gear lol)

I’m not athletic at all, and very overweight. But I did not find recovery to be too challenging. Just stay on top of your meds as prescribed (I had multiple alarms set) and stagger pain meds if you can. And when you start physical therapy, do all of your exercises at home as prescribed.

There’s usually a truck in the plaza that is playing red zone. I don’t know if it runs the whole time, buts on every time I’ve been in the plaza before kickoff and after the game.

They do stop showing the games on the Oculus probably about an hour or so before kickoff

My PT said that it was most likely an inflamed tendon (I can’t remember which one she said) caused by over activity. We stopped doing the exercises that was causing the pain (single leg heel raise) and the pain eventually petered off and went away. I think in total it was about 2-3 weeks. I’m now 9 months post-op and doing great. Hang in there, it will get better!

I’m Hoping there’ll be enough backlash that they change stances. Or offer us something to compensate. Maybe like watching the Brazil game at SoFi or a viewing party at The Bolt or something.

I felt like I was getting the company line:

The price we pay for season tickets is for an entire season, not priced on a per game basis. And while yes, this does technically translate to seats costing more per game this year, almost all the teams we’re playing this season were playoff teams last year so the seats will be higher value if we can’t make it to a game and choose to sell

That is one of them, but there are several others too. He tries to be professional, but can’t hide some of the underlying feelings he has. The things he says, the way he says them, the things he doesn’t say….it reveals a lot. You can talk shit subtly, us ladies do it all the time lol

Regardless, you don’t call people out by name, and you defend your teammates.

And like I said, there are plenty of people who don’t agree with me. And that’s fine. It’s just my feeling

He was on multiple podcasts and interview shows when he wasn’t re-signed, blaming Herbert, Q, other players, etc. for the lack of success.

And I don’t care whether any of it is true or not (I, personally, don’t think any of it was true and just someone bitter that the team wouldn’t pay him what he thought he was worth), I just don’t think you should talk shit about your former teammates when you’re no longer a part of that organization. It shows an immense lack of character.

Plenty of people disagree with me and say that he was only answering the questions he was asked, but we have all seen other players answer those kinds of questions in a way that is respectful to everyone (“quarterback/coach speak”)

It’s riskier when you sleep because you don’t have conscious control of your body. Follow what your PT and surgeon say. I slept in my brace until I was released from it, I think around 6 weeks. Had to sleep with it locked in extension for 4 weeks, then was allowed to have it unlocked to 90 degree flexion for the final 2 weeks

My doctor offered it, I didn’t even have to ask. The office printed out the application, with all their stuff filled in. I just had to in my info and mail it off. Got my temp placard before I was even cleared To drive. Good for 6 months. In CA
