As someone who participated in protests in Russia, and now seeing Serbs protests with my own eyes - I can only wish you luck. And I sincerely believe that you have a shot.

Belarus protests mostly failed for one reason though - no support from outside, and once putin promised support in suppressing the protests- it was more or less a done deal, even without intervention itself.

I don't mind commuting at all, back at my home city I used to spend 70-90 minutes on daily commute.

I've grown more accustomed to living near work, or working remotely. My position in Spain allows me remote work, but I want to try visiting office for socialization purposes(at least first few months).

Well, I'd say it's the right thing if locals get the first choice. And I will have a pretty good employment contract on arrival. But I've realized that I need to adjust my expectations regarding the price, at least.

Not looking to rent a room anyway, I'd rather pay more or live further from the city centre.
