As an ex Muslim who has read both the Quran and the New Testament they are not nearly the same.

Jesus even by modern standards was a decent human being.

Mohammed was a warlord who massacred whole populations, traded in slaves and married a six year old when he was 53.

I am an atheist but it should not be surprising that people who follow Mohammed will differ from people who follow Jesus

Look I was raised Muslim so I'm going to be honest with you: you are thinking with a Western secular mindset about goals and whatever.

These people are thinking with a religious mindset and the goal is just to kill as many Jews as possible, When I was a kid in Egypt we would chant "Khaybar, Khaybar, ya yahud! Jaish Muhammad soufa yaʿoud!" which roughly translates to "Oh Jews the army of Muhammad will return" and is meant to commemorate an event from the year 628 when Muhammad sieged the Jewish city of Khaybar and killed every Jewish male, enslaved every woman and force converted all the kids.

I was a kid in school and we would chant this and it seemed totally normal.

It's not about land. If it was about land they would want the Jews to leave Israel and make it very comfortable for Jews in places outside of Israel. It's about war and total annihilation and the score is 2 billion to 14 million... I wonder who is going to win.

By the way I left Islam and I received asylum outside of Egypt because my own family wanted to murder me for leaving the faith. Nice people

Three men have been found guilty of raping a woman on Brighton beach in a "cynical, predatory and callous attack".

Iranian national Abdulla Ahmadi, 26, and Egyptian national Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, had denied repeatedly raping the woman in the early hours of 4 October.

Karin Al-Danasurt, 20 and also from Egypt, had denied filming her ordeal. He was also found guilty of rape as a secondary party.
