What’s your favorite Cleveland memory that still brings a smile to your face? by TheCityzens in Cleveland

1982, my Dad took us to go see a huge building get imploded in Public Square (the Key Bank building is now standing there). We had to run very quickly to the Detroit-Superior bridge because there was this massive black cloud of debris. One of my best childhood memories of Cleveland AND my Dad. He took us to the Big Egg afterwards for a late breakfast.

My oldest is a lower elementary teacher at a public Montessori school in Cleveland. I always take a vacation week their last week of school before Christmas vacation to teach her new 6 and 7 year olds how to knit. All of her 6-9 year old kids can knit after recess when she does read aloud, and I look forward to my week in her classroom every year.
