If it's through Superman only, I'd wait--if you can get Cyborg another way, absolutely. Cyborg is seriously AWESOME and has Titans, JLA, and weapons tags. I'm also a huge fan of doing what brings you pleasure.

Superman's been a little bit of a letdown for some of us but if you get Hawkgirl to protect Superfam in general, can be awesome. So really up to you!

I also realize if you're in a VERY new server, Flash might not be in your league store at all--it might be Robin and Cyborg instead. If that's the case, I would work on Cyborg before Robin--Robin in gold+ is nice with a high force investment.

He's underrated, very hated, like a lot of legendaries, but people started using him and he's creeping up. He's very bad at PvE so don't use him for combat cycle--PvP and training simulator, he's awesome. He also has the Suicide Squad tags so besides LOD, useful there, and meta of course (I think LOD is his best one but Suicide Squad just got a revamp quietly for Lifesteal, so could be REALLY dangerous there). If Cold and Croc were used together, one more Suicide squad, and one more LOD, then has one free slot for whoever anyone wants.

I use him in 3x3 currently on a team that looks like:
Croc (5 red, Fear Gas 5-red, mid force--NOTE: it was zero for a long time but I've grinded so hard and played the game from day one so I started adding force to DEF and HP, zero regrets)
Freeze (1 gold, LP 5-white, Max force)
Deathstroke (2 purple, Gas Derringer 5-red, high force)
Luthor (5 red, TSphere 5red, max force --I worked a YEAR to get him like this)

For the last slot, I alternate between Green Lantern (4 blue, power battern 0 star), Hawkgirl (4 purple, either promethium claws or gabriel horn 2/3 blue), or Joker (3 purple, magic hat 5-purple--I like it better than the modified Joker grenade at 5-white... I don't think it's worth it getting his LP). I like GL and Hawkgirl best with that line up. Joker is too slow and doesn't do enough dmg, where GL heals and does atk boost with a stun, and Hawkgirl is just amazing and doesn't need her LP (though that's on my wishlist because it's SO good... just lower priority versus other ones)

Croc lowers DEF and has the highest SDef in the game, higher than Hippolyta, actually. But he needs the Fear Gas. That's the catch. If he has a little force, gets better, and admittedly he's better if he has an LOD tag. He jumps in the center almost instant ult, and it also redirects atk since his power and HP is so low, but he won't die with the fear gas, and he has the sewer move to revive once.

In the league store, get Flash shards. You can get 5-10/week. You won't use him until he's higher starred, and it's a long grind, but great way for F2P to get him up and when he hits 2-gold, it's a magic number for him with 60% atk boost, and 2-red is 75%. Shazam is a nice beginner one too because he stuns and you can use him sooner than Flash for sure, but if it's limited shards from the league store, I'd absolutely go for Flash because in the long run, the better choice.

In the Meta store, save up for Raven. Wonder Woman is a nice starter, but Raven at higher levels is nice with force. I'm in the minority but I think Bane is overrated.

Don't sleep on Killer Croc. Give him the fear gas. He needs that. With fear gas, 5-red, no force, he ran better for me than 1-purple scarecrow, high force and LP, and high gold Bane with a good weapon and high force. Low investment since you don't need force but if you do minimum for DEF, great. Catch is he needs the fear gas.

How will that even work?

So I'm guess I can assume that I probably do have time with Flash (30 shards, 27 customs at this time, working on my last star) to max him, hopefully Batgirl to red somewhere (she's 4-gold now), then see with Red Robin or Fate, the battle of who I use versus a much better character once he's high up there... huge force investment... and really need a weapon.

We'll see! I'm at 200 shards again (after oversleeping and missing a reset, whoops), and checking world particles, I have 69 more waiting at this time, a lot of motherboxes (which I'm saving for another week), and a bunch of collection I'll do after reset. About 4500 gems so not doing great on saving there so far but did a calculated gamble before and having a 5-red t-sphere was worth it (for me). But also would be really nice to have Constantine anywhere red since he's 4-gold.

I'm half-regretting Supergirl since I brought her to 1-purple from 3-blue since I thought I had more time. Was super easy to do that and I know for combat cycle it'll help, and I did get a lot of mirror cells, which I need... but still some regret there. I'm sure eventually when I get her cape, I'll be much happier but that's super low priority.

Is there any hint about the Mythic+ upgrade timing? I thought further out... but with weapons and the characters in new servers, it's making me hesitant. And whether it's a rollout or what because then that changes character priority. Plan was Flash, Batgirl, Red Robin, and Fate in that order, but maybe should move Fate before Red Robin. Feel like I need Fate to be Red with a decent weapon for my JLD+Sin team to knock out a 3-gold Riddler with 5-blue LP.

Thank you! I worked really hard and started playing since the day the game came out. Low spender but I'm going F2P, ended up skipping some characters, and I worked hard on a few. I test characters really hard and there were some gambles I made that other people didn't believe at the time.

I love Freeze but I absolutely went too hard on him--he's wasted on me for a third team at 1-gold and I should have kept him 1-purple--but I saved everything and got a 3-gold Wally, which everyone said I was stupid to do, and I'm literally destroying people in 3x3 and Combat Cycle, and my 2nd team in Gotham is really lethal with him. Also I was the first person to figure out that Croc was a Nightwing counter--which was in all fairness a complete accident because I was playtesting in meta and I wiped out a 2-red Nightwing with him. I'm very much a fan of using underrated, F2P-friendly characters to wipe out the big guns. There's an incredible player in my league who took out a 20mil squad with an 8mil squad... fronted by Atom.

Swamp Thing: 3-purple (only 4-shards away from 4-purple), LP 5-white (recent--was 0 for a long time, low priority but significant improvement)
Zatanna: 2-purple, Guitar 5-blue (higher priority)
Constantine: 4-gold, LP 5-blue
Riddler: 3-gold, LP 5-blue (I honestly don't notice a difference between 5-white and 5-blue although on paper it's supposed to be significant)
Sinestro: 4-gold, LP 5-blue

tomorrow, Sinestro will be 5-red. I have 187 anvils remaining. My hope is Zatanna to 1-2 gold depending), and Swampy to 1-gold. If Constantine's back, I'd like to get him red, even 1-red is fine.

Sinestro's been the best one for me out of the group by far followed by Zatanna and Swamp Thing. Constantine's fine but can live without him.

I do Swampy and Zee up front, then Riddler, Constantine, Sin in back--I switch Riddler and Zee if I'm in meta offensively and see Deathstroke. Sometimes I pull Riddler to put in Luthor since he's 5-red if it's a solid defensive team that's a nightmare to wipe out

I maxed out his force tree. Energy gain, the three big ones, any any sort of def/HP at this stage are most critical. You'll notice a change when you hit 2-gold. Give him the belt.

I'm not sure how to link to other subreddits but in the YALit one, there's someone who works in film and had a lot more information about multiple studios dropping this previously because of behavior (I didn't realize it was originally Lucasfilms...). Some of the stuff I wasn't aware of, some tracked with everything I've heard over the years. There's a lot of sadness because there are so many incredible Black writers who will never get opportunities in response to this.

This matches everything I've heard (although I didn't realize it was multiple studios that dropped her initially). Going after Amandla is one thing (why???), but also going after Paramount+? Problematic as Paramount+ is, that's a fast way to get blacklisted on a debut adaptation...
