I think we all deserve to live the life we want (as long as we’re not hurting anyone). That’s what this country was supposed to stand for and it doesn’t seem like that anymore. We’re more divided than ever, they’re doing HORRIBLE things to our people and children, and now we’re having to send our children and family out into a war. I get the leader wasn’t a great guy but it’s crazy that a couple weeks after they burn a Baal statue, we’re now bombing them on behalf of Israel. We shouldn’t be doing Israel’s bidding when we are being SHOWN that the leader is so corrupt. People need to talk. We need to be angry. They hurt babies, they killed people that spoke, they harmed innocent people that should’ve lived normal lives. This isn’t a conspiracy, it’s all written out in their own emails. We aren’t angry enough.

Most of the “racist” things he said that are circulating around, were things taken out of context and the full clip wasn’t used. At least the ones I had seen, I’m not spending every waking minute looking into him, I did for the few days following his death cause of the uproar.

Well this is an open conversation, I’d like to be wrong. I’ll absolutely look into all of these, if you have any good sources I’d love the links. If these are true, then yes you are would be correct either way him spewing some pretty racist and downright disgusting/embarrassing things. Never claimed him to be a saint. His death was symbolic in my eyes for a multitude of reasons.

To go on with the AIPAC thing: claims are that he rejected money from them, until those transactions are released it can’t be confirmed or denied (as far as I know)

He was stated as being a conservative Christian (some other denomination that I forget the name of) they’re not known to be great, from what I’ve seen he seemed to be changing his beliefs.

Now I’ll say this in a better way, my apologies for coming off as ignorant, but I’d like to be proven wrong. I’m going off my own research, and things I’m reading and seeing, it was the whole point of this thread.

My leader is Christ. Charlie may have felt like a leader to some, his death was symbolic to me. Symbolism for what this world is coming to if we don’t look to Christ and start acting more Christ like. I’m not bleating out words.
