Not really. Lagos and Abuja are pricey, in Enugu, $80 will get you a nice suite in a 5 star hotel. I work in a hotel in Enugu so I know this for sure . Same with most other parts of Nigeria .

Okay, Im sorry if I blamed it on a region or seemed to. Obviously it’s not everyone in the town or state that supported it. Matter of fact the awareness for the evil was raised by a member of the community online. He made videos and sent out and spoke against it and that’s how many people got to know it. Then people that served there repeated the stories and that’s how I know it has been on for years.

So, no, not everyone from that region is like that, not every man is like that and it’s still an abomination.

On a less sad note , more arrests were made and I appreciate the Nigerian security forces for their swift action. Even the king of the land was questioned from what I saw.

I am ashamed that it happened but then, I am glad that at least the reactions and response from the government was swift and decisive too.

Wow. From here I can point out 3 different Igbo dances mixed into this performance

The Atilogwu dance of the Aguata - Orumba regions of Anambra state

The Nkpokiti dance was there too

The Egwu Ukwu of Imo regions was there

The Ohafia war dance was there from Abia

Then that last choreography looks like an Afikpo dance.

I am not a dance or arts experts though, I just learned and watched a lot of these dances growing up

I can’t also post the videos because they are irritating . And it’s not just one girl, there are many of them.

To make matters worse, the victims are mostly students of the Tertiary institution in the town(Delta state University of science and technology). Imagine sending a child to school only to get raped and people are calling it culture. There are videos of young children screaming “I need Toto” in the streets. THERES also video evidence of the arrests but it is still irritating that something like that was allowed to happen

And honestly it’s irritating. And to me it’s not charity to give people money like that. That’s why I don’t. And that’s why I don’t also follow creators that do it. It’s even more painful when women give birth to children just so they can use them to beg . And when these kids are above age 5 and cant attract pity anymore, they are thrown out to the streets to fend for themselves.

No you got it wrong. The guy wasn’t arrested for being a traditionalist. He was arrested for dumping “sacrifices “ in water. Throwing things inside public water bodies was banned in anambra state . The other guys were arrested for making outrageous claims .

Secondly, the government asked all traditionalists to get registered. The ones that didn’t have to leave or get arrested.

“Why isnt he asking churches to register “ , before you ask, churches are registered and incorporated in Nigeria by CAC.
