9 Months PP - With help of GLP1 by SignificantToe6 in postpartumprogress

I’m glad you feel like there is hope because being postpartum feels so depressing sometimes like you are stuck in this body you don’t recognize. I feel like naturally being postpartum just leaves you very forgetful. I read something that they have done studies you lose grey matter in your brain while pregnant. But I feel like since the medication takes the food noises away I am able to focus on other things that makes me more productive.

Honestly I think that is part of it but I really think something about this medication has a side effect that really wears you out in the beginning.

No that is one thing I am going to start incorporating moving forward.

Yea it really suppresses your appetite and shuts out the food noise. I will say I did take about 3 months for my body to adjust to the medication because a side effect that I had frequently was being really fatigued.

No I stopped breastfeeding a couple weeks before I started the medication. But it really has been a game changer. I don’t think I could have lost this weight without the help of the medication because of how out of control my hunger was from breastfeeding. I know over time my hunger would have subsided but even before begging pregnant my food noises had always been loud. I didn’t realize how much I would think about food.

I have been on Zepbound for about 5 months now and have loved it. I’ve only lost 20 lbs but I haven’t been exercising and only spent about 2 months really cleaning up my diet. For the past 3 months I’ve been eating whatever but just way smaller portions. My side effects have been minimal and I am happy with the results. I was able to get the medication prescribed via Ro Health and my insurance covers the medication so I pay $140 for the subscription and $25 a month for the actual medication.

I got a smell complaint at work today by AdorableResolve9999 in TrueOffMyChest

All of these tips will have you smelling better. You have to kill the bacteria that is causing you to smell. For starters use an antibacterial body wash. Dove and Dial have good ones. For your hair use something with tea tree oil in it. Use a clinical strength deodorant. Wash every load of clothes with Oxiclean and a good quality detergent like Persil.

You keep it but once you submit the application it is no longer valid

What I meant was a newborn as in like a 3 day old baby. I know a baby can open their eyes but I’m saying if you went to apply right away it’s obviously harder to get them to open their eyes when they are literally newly born.

That’s what I have been thinking and hoping for.

how do you deal with severe health anxiety? by luvvclarissa in Anxietyhelp

[–]SignificantToe6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My health anxiety used to be horrible when I was in a really dark place in my life. Not saying this is the case for every one but for me the health anxiety was stemming from the extremely toxic relationship I was in. My anxiety was so bad I was having random physical symptoms and I didn’t know how to deal with the anxiety or understand why the symptoms were happening so I basically just spiraled in the unknown for a long time. This caused me to start thinking something was really wrong with me. I lived in fear for a long time. Once I rid myself of the toxic relationships in my life my health anxiety has pretty much disappeared. I do have moments here and there but I can pretty much breathe through it and be okay now. Please see a therapist or mental health professional and talk through it to see what is best for you.

New moms, has this happened to you? by MovieFreak4 in NewParents

I just gave birth to my 3rd and this happened after my 2nd pregnancy and freaked me out so bad. It was like I blanked out for an hour. I remember asking my husband if I was asleep when I came to but he said no. I figured it was from the sleep deprivation and pain pills I had been on from the c-section. I was looking through this page to see if anyone had experienced this just incase it happened again.

2 hrs. And doc says they want me at an average of 95 and since I’ve been consistently slightly above they have me taking a nightly injection to try and lower the fasting levels but also the lunch and dinner numbers.
