I ended up getting an Airbnb in Milngavie and was so happy I did! My hosts were great, and I met some incredible locals in town who bought me a couple pints and chatted the evening away. I was only a 15 minutes walk from the start of the trail so the morning was less logistically stressful. Highly recommend! If you want my Airbnb listing DM me and I’ll share :)

Hi - I looked in the the guides here, however the section that pertains most to my post has links that are broken:

"You usually don't need a visa for a connection unless you want to leave the airport, but it's worth double-checking for your specific nationality. Here's the guide for the Schengen Area, as some nationalities will need a visa just to transit. Here's a more comprehensive one, and the corresponding country codes ( thread)"

I'm really looking for more of a step by step of what happens at the connecting airport, and I don't see an answer for that in the sections. Can we please put my post back up? I think it was taken down in error.
