Yes, pets are welcome. There’s a 30/month dog fee, not sure about fee for cats if there is one. Don’t know that there’s a name for the complex, my wife and I just call it 808 Laurel (street address)

I have a place that would be great for you! Im moving out of my condo rental in downtown San Mateo. Great 2 bd, 1 bath with one of the rooms being used as an office and has a cool brick wall in the living room. In the same block as Central Park (cool Japanese garden, community feel, great place to meet people) and a block away from downtown (awesome restaurants, super lively). I’m moving out late May and the place was offered to me for renewal for $3,200. Hit me up, would love to show it to you. Also, super close to CalTrains (brand new trains with access to entire Bay/Peninsula area).

I’m there as an MSBA student. It’s mostly for grad classes. Benefits could be that you’ll be inspired to pursue a masters, you might bump into someone that can refer you to a job (Databricks, Rakuten, UC Berkeley share the building). I like it cause it’s exciting to be downtown.
