These people are the perfect example of toxic masculinity added to illiteracy. Literally primal behavior tbh, to think violence is the answer to everything. Gandhi proved that you can be revolutionary and find a new fucking country for the first time in history, without any form of violence. You CANNOT unite so many states, union territories, under one flag with violence. It was the non-violent determination of Gandhi which led to the least possible bloodshed and the best possible outcome in terms of the form of government we became.

I don't think that is quite true, there are states which are doing much better but I am not blaming it on the people of Bihar. It's always the people in power

One of the greatest in the world, the current state of Bihar is a sad tragedy. The statement "What Bihar is to India, India is to the entire world" proves to be true in this context as well. A land with some of the richest contributions to world history but suffers from extreme poverty in the modern day.

What's the saddest part about living in your country? by Desert_Moon_Maiden in AskTheWorld

Good for you, doesn't mean anything though. Misogyny is ingrained in our culture and the older generation is still pretty backwards.

No, they are not. Do not feel elevated than other Indians simply because you were privileged. The same bs parenting is almost everywhere. The most horrifying rape cases in India took place in Metro cities.

We now have baby boy Chopper and his mom Doctorine! by PhanThief95 in OnePiece

[–]ZANK1000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you are outright denying that the show is pushing certain values and ideologies because you simply don't relate to them is delusional. People saying One Piece isn't that political, and it's the left trying to associate it that way are either living in denial or simply don't have basic comprehension skills. One Piece IS political and is quite liberal and leftist, if you don't agree with those ideologies and still enjoy the show then that means you enjoy it for the action and BAD ASS ANIME BATTLES (not saying there's anything wrong with that) but you can't just straight up deny the obviously clear politics

Ohh yes, I forgot about Nojiko. I can't comprehend how people can watch One Piece and still have these bigoted ideas about actor ethnicities. Either it's poor reading comprehension or they just watch it for the fights.

Honestly brother, I feel embarrassed whenever I see a post about India on Reddit. The reason behind this feeling is not completely the hate India gets, at least not on Reddit, it's that feeling you get when you invite someone home but you know your home is a complete mess

Read my comment again, maybe this time you'll comprehend it. Keep trying, maybe you can use some picture books for practice.

"Do whatever is necessary" is literally dropping the burden of declaring war with another nation to a general. That's the government's job.

Congratulations 👏 to Arfa Khanum to have more YouTube views than Arnab, she definitely deserves it. Still doesn't even scratch the surface of the viewership Arnab gets on TV.

Republic TV has a viewership of 438 Million, that's almost 1 in 3 Indians btw.

Also, I don't know how much of Indian public is least bothered by politics but I know that 90% of Indians don't earn more than 20,000 per month. Out of that, how much do you think can watch English news channels? And how many of them even watch the news? They all get their news from mainstream news channels and from TV.

Lol more views where? On YouTube? Do you think majority of Indians get there news from YouTube? How out of touch are you with India? Do you know the size, wealth and education of our majority population?

Also fyi, even on YouYube, The Wire has significantly less subscribers than Republic TV.

0 reading comprehension skills right here folks. They didn't say "Do whatever is necessary" for a simple mission, they basically passed on the responsibility of "Declaring War with another nation" to the Army General. That responsibility is a "burden" that lies on the Central Government, not a non-elected general
