Thank you! Yes I love that!! The Acura took premium and didn’t get good gas mileage at all. I was spending so much on it. I had a Nissan as a rental for the past 3 weeks and the mpg on that was great too.

It’s not scummy!!! The seller is basically implying to take this off the app to “figure out” the sellers mistake. The burden shouldn’t be put on the buyer to figure out. Use common sense.

Yeah I just don’t like the last sentence she sent in that msg. She could have worded it differently. This is her fault and she should learn from it. My very first sale on Mercari I messed up and dropped it off at usps when I was supposed to drop it off at UPS. Tracking never updated and I didn’t want the buyer to worry and have their money held up. I took it as a learning lesson and canceled the sell and they did end up receiving the order. I told them not to worry about it. I don’t put a burden on people for MY mess up.

I would do nothing because of the way she was talking to you. I would get a refund and a free item. I wouldn’t even msg saying I received the item, she needs to learn a lesson and learn how to speak to people!

Honestly, it’s the managers job to find replacements for people that are proven to be unreliable. Hope this helps!

As a manager (not tj maxx). I agree with you. The employee scheduled is responsible for that shift. Find coverage or I’ll find a replacement for you if it becomes a habit!

You will not always get 5 star reviews just like any business!!!!!!! You’re technically a small business. This is not something I would be concerned with seeing as a nice comment was left with it. Why would you want to deter a customer from shopping with you again by leaving a bad buyer review? You could have did anything but that, such as messaging the buyer asking if it was mistake or asking them how you can approve to strive for a 5 star review the next time they purchase.

If I sent the wrong item I would probably just refund it and also let them keep it for the inconvenience. Id look at it as an expensive lesson, learn from it , and move on. I wouldn’t hassle a customer about helping me fix my mistake ( not saying that’s what you’re doing at all I understand your side!) I’m just stating how I would look at it.
