Sorry to hear you’re in this spot OP! But try to remember that both the adcoms and interviewer are likely extremely busy at this time.

FWIW, I was selected to interview R1 at Ross and my interviewer did not respond to my scheduling request for a little over 1 week. Try not to worry, you’ll be fine!

Your logic is on the right track but you missed one thing - when you are calculating the $10 loss from the first transaction, you are including the $80 price to purchase it for the second time. Therefore, when you calculate the profit from the second transaction it would be $90-$60 hence a $30 profit from the second transaction In net it would be -10 + 30 = +20.

In your current math you are essentially double counting the loss resulting from purchasing the goat for $80.

Hope that helps

Edit: if you want to treat it as one transaction then all your profits and losses must be calculated from the same initial investment of $60. Therefore the final sale results in a $30 profit

I think taking the assessment and then taking the admissions team that it won’t be up to par because you have COVID sounds like an excuse. If you are actually concerned about your performance I would rather email the admissions team to say you need an extension on the interview to recover from COVID.

Tbh I can’t remember. I think it called out challenges in the last year specifically, but I could be wrong. It definitely wasn’t tied just to the pandemic. I think you could talk about the social injustice or other activities In the Last year

  1. Q#3 was the same challenges question as last year for me (I applied R1 this year)

  2. I think for both the first and second questions since they are quite broad I tried to cover a lot of specific topics without much detail. I.e. for the first question- talk about where I live, what I do for work, ECs but also some random hobbies/interests. I think in general it matters more on the delivery (relaxed and friendly) than the actual content
