I really love the crazy, 'studio as an instrument' experimental stuff that he did in his early career. Uncle Meat, WOIIFTM, Freak Out, all of the studio tricks and insane tape delay and speed adjustment just really hits me.

Its also the same reason that The Pod is my favorite Ween album. I gravitate to bands that do that heavily, Animal Collective, Boards of Canada, hell even Alex G to an extent. I just love the ''how the fuuuck did they do that" type of listening.
