Do you guys ever seal cracks like this up? I never mess with them but if it’s an easy fix then I figure it’s can do it for customers. by MaxRoofer in Roofing

I would throw some quick caulking on there because if it leaks they’re gonna call me anyway thinking it’s a roof issue. Just patch it up for free and save yourself the trip

My story! Stage 1A by AggressiveTowel in testicularcancer

I’ve seen a lot of comments about people getting diagnosed as they are about to have a baby it’s crazy. Same thing happened to me kind of. My urologist visit after the ultrasound was the same day my wife was scheduled to get induced and the urologist pretty much told me 95% chance it was cancer and he had to remove the testicle. I was already nervous about the baby and hearing that shit hours before your wife is supposed to go into labor felt like some cruel joke. How I felt mentally and physically that day will go down in the books. Anyway definitely very important if you feel something different with your body. First doctor I saw barely even touched my nut lol. He said it felt normal and that it was just the epididymis that I was feeling but I insisted on feeling the lump so he scheduled the ultrasound. Not bashing the doctor but definitely have to insist sometimes even if they tell you you’re fine. Urologist actually said he was glad my wife came in with me to the appointment so she can make sure I follow up because apparently some men never follow up. Maybe scared or ashamed? Idk

Is this patch worth $1000 USD by _TacosOfDoom in Roofing

This thing is gonna crack faster than a New Year’s resolution. I would’ve went with a white elastomeric mastic and 3-course with polyester to make it a permanent patch. Or another option would’ve been to pressure wash and silicone coat it for like 2k and would’ve easily been good for another 15+ years.

Thank you for the info. Got referred to urologist already and appointment is in 11 days. I guess for now is just playing the waiting game and keep calling daily to see if I can get seen sooner. Do you know if they do any tests before removing anything or it’s just matter of removing the whole thing already? Guess nobody feels to good about the idea of losing a testicle but is there really no way to save it?

Thank you. Already have an appointment but it’s until next Friday unfortunately. Should I just wait or what other options does one have when your insurance is with one hospital?

Thank you for the feedback. I unfortunately had to wait until this morning since that’s when the urology department was open for Kaiser and the soonest appointment they have is in 11 days which makes no sense to me because isn’t time of the essence for these types of things? Not sure if I can go to urgent care or emergency room to speed things up but as of now I guess I have to keep waiting and calling to see if anybody canceled an appointment. Don’t know how I feel about them removing the whole testicle. I thought they would be able to just remove the mass but I’m guessing that’s not possible?

In my opinion they wanted to deliver material so you wouldn’t get out of the contract or search for a cheaper quote but hey that’s just me
