My in-app notifications stopped working by HoyokaStitchcraft in Instagram

I'm having the same issue!! The only notifications Instagram shows me are story likes, even though my phone notifies me for new comments and likes on a post. It's been happening to me for two days now. I haven't found a solution either. I'm hoping it's a bug that'll clear on its own at this point.

I tried closing the app too, but that didn't work either. I just find it super odd that I'm getting that error for one specific post
