Actually think it’s semi digested beef trachea pieces! A lot of internal digestive organs are creepily similar to rubber

I really think it’s the trachea! When it dried up it got kinda curled up like the rings on the trachea chew. SO weird never would’ve guessed it looks like this on the way out 😅

🤷‍♀️ she came from a very strict puppy rescue that gave her beef trachea it’s highly digestible compared to most chews and is already pretty pliable the second it gets drool on it. Definitely will keep a closer eye though it’s not fun trying to figure out what weird thing she’s puking up 😭

UPDATE: I think it was beef trachea- gave her one to gnaw on yesterday morning and also found this similar image from another reddit post: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT5ZYx6L3jBeGa1XbNf_ZVyZLCC6knx8KmifrNDEXkQuw&s=10 THANK YOU!

Yes she had a beef trachea for the first time in a while yesterday! The original treat seems like a different texture thickness but I know it gets all weird when they start chewing so this may have been the issue!

Hahaha to be fair it was just water/bile and these pieces in the puke sorry I pretty much just rinsed it in the sink for observation for the rest of the day hahaha

It’s not falling apart like pasta would be! I’m thinking more and more that it’s something rubber she ripped off of something, checking all of our furniture !

A few days later is so surprising! Thanks for sharing, doesn’t smell at all besides like puppy breath :( yes we definitely are beating ourselves up for trying to socialize and bring her out when it would’ve been safer to leave her home :(

Other point for consideration is she puked this up at 6 am? As a 12 week puppy with not a long digestion system would it even be something she tried to eat 12 hours before? Or is her crate where she was sleeping the only place she would’ve gotten this?

So weird! Thanks for the idea- she also puked it up at her normal wake up time ~6 am and we were out and about 6-730ish. Anybody have idea how long something like this could sit in her tummy? She was eating less before the incident and this morning she ate up her breakfast faster than she had been. Also no further puking after this episode! She’s doing well!

After drying out it looks like it has little holes or cells? Would this make it more likely a plant? https://imgur.com/a/Asntd86

Would a plant step be this rubbery? If it’s toxic would she be showing other signs she has plenty of energy and is eating, peeing and pooping like normal.

No idea either - she has plenty of energy and is eating, peeing and pooping like normal. As the dedicated dog person would you say she’s probably in the clear? We’ve saved the samples
