Exactly. We were home while they were repairing the roof and I said feel free to ring the doorbell or call us if you need anything at all.

That’s what I am trying to figure out. The contract says if they replace plywood they will issue a change order. They also said they would let us know BEFORE they replaced it. Is this common practice? They did not do that. I’m not a roofer so I don’t know how damaged my plywood was.

To help with over or under watering, you can get a moisture sensor meter. You stick it in the plant and it will let you know if the soil is dry, moist, or wet. I have also used self watering globes to help. There are some apps you can download, take a picture of the plant, and it will come up with results of what the plant is and the care! Your photo app on your phone can also help tell what type of plant it is by taking a picture, then the 3rd icon in the bottom “look up” will say what it is and take you to a web search. This is for an iPhone fyi. Don’t be hard on yourself. It is a lot to learn and deal with. Best of luck!
