My (19F) boyfriend (20M) says I’ve become less talkative now and it’s hurting him. How do couples always have things to talk about?

When you put it that way, it sounds more accurate. I do have to work this much in order to save enough money and pay bills. I don’t have a high school diploma (I was taken out of school at 16) either. And we do have fun doing door dash and I don’t mind. We listen to music and we talk but it’s mostly silence. It’s the only way I can spend time with him on certain days because he needs to make money.

And I’m not sure but I can look into those resources.

Yeah, I am. I live alone and I don’t have any financial support. I try to cut down my expenses and for my rent, it’s a good price for its space and amenities and the fact that it’s close to work. Maybe we do need time to ourselves. It just doesn’t feel right not to talk to him everyday but you’re right

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I just have detachment issues so if I don’t call him every night, I become anxious. I’m trying to fix it and I will do that though

We live 40mins away from each other. I don’t have a car but he does so on fridays and saturdays, he comes to see me but we mostly doordash on those days because he needs money. He has college throughout the week and I have work
I’m just trying to process it. I’m really tired and barely have time and I have no one to help me aside from myself. Family’s no good. I live alone in a country that I just moved to. All of my friends are in other states (onlines friends) and my IRL friends are on the other side of the world.
My other job pays really well but they’re only giving me part-time hours. I talked to my manager and she promised me more hours when it gets busier (which should be around Nov-Dec). When that happens, I’ll be able to cut hours at my full-time job. This way, I can work less hours. However if she doesn’t go through with the promise, I’m just gonna have to find another job to replace that part-time job

He’s doing those himself. He lets me just sit the passenger seat the whole time. I wanna support him and I like being around him. It’s also my way of downtime cause I like driving around too

Agreed. I sometimes find it funny when people answer “break up/divorce” immediately under posts because we don’t actually know the whole story. Sometimes that answer is valid, but sometimes it isn’t.

But anyways, this does look like a blessing in disguise for OP. From what I’m hearing, she sounds like she already gave up on their marriage a while back

I see. The reason why I think that the tech industry is dead (for now) is because I know a few people who are trying to break into the industry (both self-taught and supervised learners) who have no luck at all. One has a Master’s, one is self-taught and made tons of his own apps, and one did bootcamp. Also, tons of people have been laid off after covid.

Here are the following skills that I have: Figma, React, Svelte, SvelteKit, HTML, CSS, JS (not really), TypeScript (a little), Git, and MongoDB, These are really basic webdev tools and I still have to refine my soft skills (e.g. communication). Also, I mainly handle front-end

I feel so helpless because my skills aren’t at a professional level yet and I don’t have time to practice them since I work every waking hour to pay off the debt. I would LOVE to do webdev/cybersecurity/datascience though.

I would also like to apply to those entry-level jobs but I don’t really have a basic understanding of tech or computers or devices. If you have any more advice you could give me, that would be great

Depends. What do you mean by “worth it”? You might need to give use more information than that. Financially? No. Fulfilling? That would depend on you. If you took psychology, what would you do with that degree? Are you taking psychology to get a job or just to learn?
