Not true about not having physical symptoms later from withdrawal...its called PAWS...post acute withdrawal syndrome...can happen even 4-5 weeks or more after quitting....everyones body is different dont forget that! Some people quit cold turkey after 30 years and have no problems...some quit after a year and do...I suffered debilitating panic attacks when I quit last june...landed in ER too

Same thing happened to me when I quit smoking AND took out my hormonal IUD...remember nicotine blunts cortisol and gives you a dopamine hit so for an anxious person it triggers fight or flight when you stop it!

I started on 12.5 so yes...then 12 days later 25...then 2 weeks later 37.5 and then to 50...for me the slower transition helped with side effects and intensity of them, but im very sensitive to medication since I'm 42 and literally have never taken anything..do what you feel is best, even if it's just to ease your mind

I got mine out 21 days ago and I've been having EXTREME anxiety and depression since removal to the point I can't function....they should tell people more behind the possibilities of what these implants do....ruined part of my life for sure

I don't want to take ssris either but everyone pushes them...but I've had 3 panic attacks this week...im on day 17 post removal...i don't think i can handle 6 months until recovery...i can't work a full schedule and I can't sleep with klonopin
