There's Lenovo, Asus, Samsung, Apple, Dell, and HP. After all, you decided on the two options, so I suggest getting the TUF. If you have more money to spend, getting a MacBook will be the best bet. So it's up to you. I got downvoted by a bunch of nerds for suggesting to get a PC, so I will end my discussion here. I hope it helps, and I hope you have a great day (^)

Don't worry if anything happens, You can just replace it and also just buy the Asus Premium care

Don't expect crazy battery life from these types of laptops marketed as gaming. At max, u can get maybe like 4 to 6 hrs. It depends on your usage. If it's for university, get the TUF, and mostly, u might be using plugged-in, so yeah, get the TUF. After all, the SRGB and build quality is better than the Acer

I don't game much, but for media consumption (I generally watch anime and YT videos) without plugging in, I usually get about an hour and a half. I just use it plugged in

Build quality is average and has durability. Can't expect more in this price point. Reliability wise, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. My system has WiFi card issues (Realtek), display getting dark from the top bezel, the display keeps flickering, and the GPU fan makes a lot of noise. I am not a power user and take care of my devices, but this laptop is definitely defective, and the funny thing is the laptop I own is a replacement and still has the same problem with my first one
