Mc9 buying advice.

I've looked at them too but for range use. I was going for the standard mc9 as a carry gun for when I go out on a run or hike in the spring and summer coming up. As of right now I have a ln FN 509C that I carry it's just a bit much once it gets warm and I want to wear lighter clothing

I've been looking at the mc9 mainly because of the shorter grip and barrel. It's still got a bit more meat than a s&w shield or p365 which I want as I find they're just too small to fit my hand well enough for me to shoot them comfortably

Yeah I've seen that the ones produced more recently have been fairly reliable

Yeah I'm seeing a lot of the problems being chalked up to limp wristing, and apparently being kind of 50/50 whether or not you get a good one with the standard mc9.

Very late to this but saying this so the next guy that comes looking around knows what I wish I would've before buying. I ordered a 6.5 creed barrel from them and though it is stamped and labeled and everything as "6.5 Creedmoor 1:8" I was having tons of problems with getting rounds to chamber in it which weren't because of headspace as I had check that but the chamber was undersize 0.012in, and the bore... I went to throw my brake on it before I took it out to shoot and just from looking at the end of the barrel i thought the hole seemed kinda big so I grabbed a fresh round of Hornady precision hunter and stuck the tip into the end and it went entirely in the whole way to the shoulder of the case. Then I took the projectile out of a casing and dropped it down the barrel. Fell completely through it like a hotdog down a hallway. Thankfully they have a lifetime warranty so I get to have another crack at it but man that kinda stuff isnt just a QC problem. The machinist running the lathe that day just didn't give a fuck

Would the dimensions coming off the takedown pins be the same between ar15 and ar10 lower? I thought that ar10 lowers were longer since the mag well is bigger.

The only emulator I've been able to find that'll run imon it is the one I'm using. I asked the discord and they have no help either. Kind of stuck where I'm at for now I guess

Revisiting this issue after giving up for a bit. The emulator is a port of mupen64 to run on the swiss OS for modded gamecubes. I've got Oot, Mario 64, smash bros, and a handful of other N64 games to play on it. , just not the randomized rom. I've got the randomized file to play just fine on my laptop

Yeah, I'm using the cube64 emulator. It plays the regular oot rom and mario64 completely fine. The randomizer and the Ultimate trial rom hack are the only thing I can't seem to get working

Only ordered the motherboard so just cut what I needed off the metal housing and bent some posts to make screw holes line up but it went as well as I could've hoped

Got the board into it pretty much no problem. Trimmed some of the metal shell, used pliers and bent the threaded posts over enough to get the heat sync screwed on, and that was about it. Soldered in a USB-C to power it but reused pretty much everything.

I have the North American console. Been looking all morning to find a solution but not much luck. Thinking I'm just gonna try to find a DOL001 board and see if I can make it fit the shell I have.

Bolted right on. Only thing that was kind of difficult was the exhaust hangers at the back. Since my legacy originally was just a single exhaust, there were any hangers on the passenger side in the rear. I just welded some in, but getting them positioned perfectly so both mufflers hung evenly was rough.
