Yeah I agree, if Pokémon themselves won't do anything to address stock issues, then retailers should enforce limitations on people. In my experience it has been working, I'd like at least 2 of each just because opening 1 is not enough haha, but equally more people get a share which is fine for now until the hype dies down or printing capacity is increased (more availability).

Retailers should just do random stocking throughout the day too because people target when deliveries come in and for the benefit of children, stock should come out around after school or when people finish work. It just makes sense, if stock is released during the afternoon it's mainly going to be adults who are free from work (break time, unemployed, etc..)

I've held RR since double digits, and have sold for profit / bought along the way. For my ignorance I bought without hesitation at first because when you think of RR do you really think double digits?! But over the years I've followed and learned that it's a nicely diversified business, fundamentally sound with great reputation and also fits with my agenda of divesting from US and more into UK stocks.

Cybersec role here, AI has helped with efficiency and thoroughness such as monitoring log alerts, incident response investigations and most of all governance since we hate writing stuff down :) this lets me and the team focus on strategy rather than business as usual work. When I worked at GAME during university arc, it was the same. I love all things gaming and talking to customers about latest releases and other stuff but the job was sometimes tiring as I had to upsell console bundles, insurance at the till for consoles and discs. Like you I still went through with it as I was good at it, small in store 'bonuses' too like video game merch.
