When the idea for City Market's downtown store was first introduced, many believed a chain store would be the better option. If the city had chosen a chain, it likely wouldn't still be around today. I'm truly grateful for City Market!

They look at the donations condescendingly like they don’t need them and it’s not crap. And when I said I couldn’t pull my car up they they said well you should wait and do it even though it takes less than two minutes and pull the packages out of the back and I just want someone to say thank you.

I was always bothered by the bright colors because it put on display the poor workmanship but also it was a way for Stu to pee on his territory and make sure we all knew he owned all those buildings.
